The victory of Berlusconi has nothing to do with the 'exotic' nature of Italians, or with political left or right but everything with mediaconcentrations that can fall in the wrong hands.

I follow the Italian political situation since 16 years and have seen how far it can come.
This is a slow poison that penetrates...
Gradually headlines start to change, the society gets divided and polarised, critical journalists get fewer and fewer.
In Rome but also in Londen the election victory was based on irrational fear.
There is no political answer to this kind of manipulation.
This can happen in any European country...

La victoire de Berlusconi ne s’explique pas par ‘l'exotisme' des Italiens ou par le clivage gauche/droite, elle prend racine dans la concentration des medias qui peuvent tomber entre de mauvaises mains.

Je suis la situation politique italienne depuis 16 ans et j’ai pu observé comment on en est arrivé là. C'est un poison lent qui gagne du terrain...
Progressivement les titres changent, la société se divise au point d’être polarisée, les journalistes critiques sont de moins en moins.
À Rome mais aussi à Londres, la victoire électorale est basée sur une peur irrationnelle.
Il n'y a aucune réponse politique à ce genre de manipulation.
Cela peut arriver dans n'importe quel pays européen...

Si vous lisez l'article suivant qui reprend toutes les déclarations de M. Berlusconi une semaine avant les élections (j'étais en Italie), vous aurez une idée de qui ou mieux encore ce qui a permis de gagner et pourquoi...
